Mirror

I began to look within myself and I could see how all of the challenges in my relationship was a reflection of my loveless thoughts and the lack of connection I had with myself. I was only focusing on my external life with no awareness of my internal landscape, which is not just our body but also our thoughts and emotions. When I was ready to look at it, I saw that my thoughts and emotions were based on lack, fear, doubt, and limitation.

The way we treat ourselves will affect how others treat us. The truth is, I wasn’t giving to myself what I wanted from someone else. I wasn’t giving myself the love and attention that I wanted. Everything I was withholding from myself I was looking for to the other person and was not getting it. I wasn’t taking care of myself — I was choosing to focus all of my attention on taking care of others or taking care of “the relationship” and trying to fix it.

We are meant to live to our full potential and when we do so, we allow our relationships to be the fullness that they can be as well. The universe lines us up with experiences that will allow us to make new choices and break out of old patterns, which is a deeply liberating experience and one in which we discover our power and the connection with the loving force within us and around us that is constantly nudging us and guiding us to our right thoughts, and our right actions and right choices.

Ditto. And I smiled.

Bella Luna
Mystery the moon
A hole in the sky
A supernatural nightlight
So full but often right
A pair of eyes a closin’ one
A chosen child of golden sun
A marble dog that chases cars
To farthest reaches of the beach and far beyond into the swimming sea of stars
A cosmic fish they love to kiss
They’re giving birth to constellation
No riffs and oh no reservation
If they should fall you get a wish or dedication
May I suggest you get the best
For nothing less than you and I
Let’s take a chance as this romance is rising over before we lose the lighting
Oh bella bella please
Bella you beautiful luna
Oh bella do what you do
You are an illuminating anchor
Of leads to infinite number
Crashing waves and breaking thunder
Tiding the evenflows of hunger
You’re dancing naked there for me
You expose all memory
You make the most of boundary
You’re the ghost of royalty imposing love
You are the queen and king combining everything
Into twining like a ring around the finger of a girl
I’m just a singer, you’re the world
All I can bring ya
Is the language of a lover
Bella luna, my beautiful, beautiful moon
How you swoon me like no other

May I suggest you get the best
Of your wish may I insist
That no contest for little you or smaller I
A larger chance happened, all them they lie
On the rise, on the brink of our lives
Bella please
Bella you beautiful luna
Oh bella do what you do
Bella luna, my beautiful, beautiful moon
How you swoon me like no other, oh oh oh

Recollection

I have drafted a few post in the past and totally forgot about it. Here’s one about India.

“Travelling around the world has always been a dream of mine. I did my fair bit of traveling with some of my friends; Bali, Bangkok, California, NYC, Sydney & Tasmania. Travelling is no longer something that I define as “trying to go for a getaway”, but it has developed into something intrinsic; something personal. India has been nothing but kind to me by sharing her beauty and I am humbled by it. From the streets of Jaipur to the people of Jaisalmer and the beauty of Agra, I enjoyed every bit of her and wished that I could have extended my stay.
We started planning for this trip months, 16th September 2016 to be exact when we both applied for vacation leaves. A few hiccups here and there during the application but once settled, that was when the planning started. The entire planning process was nothing but full of changes. We had it all settled on one route but due to our fickle-mindedness, we decided to change the whole itinerary; not once but a few times. I must admit though, I enjoyed every bit of it.

Countless of late nights and we managed to finalize everything; from hotels, transportations, and visas. We embarked on our journey to India on 1st February 2017. Throughout the whole trip, you can see that I was always smiling and I could not help it. This journey is no longer just about him wanting to visit this beauty since way back, it has evolved into a trip that we both invested in and made it a memorable and lovely trip. Some trip will end with “I wish I could have done this”, but I will end this one with “I have capsuled the moments I was there and nothing could replace the whole trip”. Well, for now at least…”
